Margarita’s Muge is named in honor of Margarita McBride Zemaitis, who was the founder of the Lithuanian Muge. She and her husband, Kazys, passed away in 2001. They were both founding members of the Lithuanians of America and Aidas Dancers.

The Muge, Lithuanian Holiday Marketplace, has been held annually since 1998. Muge (pronounced moo'-gay) is a Lithuanian word meaning marketplace.

  • Dine in our European cafe or pick up some take out food.
  • Enjoy the Aidas Lithuanian Dancers.
  • Have your photo taken with Father Frost.
  • Browse among Lithuanian imports including Baltic amber jewelry, wood carvings and hand-woven linens.
  • Shop for gifts made by a variety of local crafters.

  • Spaces are available for vendors. As a Muge Vendor you will be provided with:

  • Two tables, with coverings if needed, and chairs
  • Electricity in booth if needed
  • Advertising
  • Flyers
  • Coverage by local media
  • Atmosphere
  • Entertainment—several short performances by the Aidas Lithuanian Dancers
  • Visits with Father Frost
  • Lithuanian kitchen
  • Lots of fun

    All for the low price of only, $50 per booth.
    Deposit of $15 is due with reservation. Make checks payable to Aidas Dancers. Balance is due during setup on Saturday of the Muge.
